I cannot say whether it was a fortunate coincidence or if there was a particular reason why I happened to meet up with music may it as a friend, a place of shelter or as a companion. To produce something beautiful, one’s own creation which at the same time brings joy to people who are close to me, is quite a magical feeling which helps one to consider his own person and his environment in different ways.

Why have I chosen to self-publish my compositions, and what does fairness in the music publishing industry truly mean in terms of the value of fairness in music publishing?
Composers and arrangers dedicate countless hours and immense creativity to their work, crafting pieces that resonate with audiences and elevate musical expression. Platforms like ArrangeMe and Musicnotes Marketplace enable creators to share their works with a global audience, but they impose hefty fees on these creators—taking up to 50% of revenue from original compositions and as much as 90% from arrangements of copyrighted works.

With all the curves, corners, dead ends, bumpy roads, and one-way streets, life is rarely perfect… but that’s what makes its beauty. With the beautiful words “Love your curves and all your edges, all your perfect imperfections” by John on my mind, I recorded my piano improvisation almost 8 years ago.
Once again, I dug out an old arrangement from my notebook and transcribed it with the help of my own recordings. Like visiting an old friend, it was nice to let the old ideas flow through my fingers onto the keyboard again. Many parts were familiar, but here and there were some bars that revealed themselves to me in a new enchantment. A beautiful memory, held firmly with notes.

As the soft melody of Ed Sheeran’s “Photograph” fills the air, memories come rushing back. It’s a song that encapsulates moments frozen in time, emotions woven into each note. And now, I’m thrilled to share with you my piano arrangement of this beautiful piece.
Capturing the essence of a song like “Photograph” is no small feat. It’s a delicate balance of preserving the original’s sentiment while infusing it with a new musical perspective. For me, this arrangement was a labor of love, a journey of exploration through chords and melodies.

American composer Jimmy Webb penned one of the most beautiful songs ever written for an animated film. The very first line of the song will evoke the childhood memories of past Christmas holidays to which this beautiful film is linked.
“The Last Unicorn” is a beautiful and magical childhood moment for many of us. The complexity of the plot, the development of the individual characters and their relationship to one another, the incorporation of motifs from different mythologies and the sublime symbolism clearly go beyond the scope of the “animation” genre, but not at the expense of magic and imagination.
As profound as the artistic layers of the film might be, the elegance of the music is in no way inferior to the complexity of the plot and the graphic implementation.

Musician and myth, gigantic and fragile, a legend in his lifetime and yet he was alone all his life. No musician, big or small, can ignore him, because his works shaped the path of music for centuries – and yet he could hardly hear them himself. Ludwig van Beethoven. But what was his life and work like? Who were the people by his side? What were his greatest successes, his losses and how were his last hours? In an impressive illustrated novel from Z2Comics, music and comic fans can (re)discover the life of one of the greatest musicians of our time in a whole new way.

FINALLY! The first three albums (Maybe You, Piano Improvistation Vol.1 and Kayo’s Journey) can now be found on many different platforms. Although I was happy with my album shop, it was getting harder and harder to comply with all the requirements and security standards and to update regularly. Since this is also about your data, I wanted to have secure basis so that I can protect both your data and my music.

In the beginning there was John Williams
The first “classic” piece I can remember was actually from the famous film E.T. – The extraterrestrial from 1982. I can’t say exactly how old I was, maybe 6 or 7 when I heard the music from the end credits of the film. The title of this score, I found out years later, is “Over the Moon”. The piano part at the beginning of the piece still gives goose bumps today – and I think not only for myself – and still arouses astonishment at the beauty and power of this wonderful composition. Well, the music of Sir John Williams was my first contact with music and so shortly afterwards I began to walk my way through the world of music with very small steps.

Over time, I developed my passion for improvising. In my Moonlight Panda Studio I usually record my compositions for my albums, however I started to record my improvisations, as well. Later, I thought about uploading my improvsation on youtube in form of videos. I create an open horizon for piano pieces, unbound in form and time. I simply play melodies, collect small ideas for future compositions and just enjoy the sound of my instrument.
The beautiful aspect of these improvisations is that you can enjoy them while reading, learning, or simply relaxing. There are still many videos of piano improvisations to come and I hope you have a good time with my music.

Inspired by the calm and fluffy giant. My new Album “Panda Piano Stories” contains 10 of my new compositions for piano solo. However there is a beautiful aspect which makes this album very special to me. Something, which makes it different from the rest of my albums.

In my new album 'Maybe You', I’m stepping away from using the piano as the main instrument for the first time. In this project, the piano takes on more of a supporting role, which creates space for a variety of solo instruments like flute, guitar, violin, and cello.
I was really excited about this change, and throughout the whole learning process, I discovered so many new nuances that I never would’ve noticed otherwise. It opened up not just new musical ideas, but also gave me fresh insights into arranging and how instruments interact with each other.

My favorite form for piano composition is the Nocturne. The sound, as well as the origins of this form of composition, which already began in the Baroque, are true treasures of music. From Field and Chopin, to Skriabin, Satie and Fauré; hardly ever a pianist or composer was able to escape this nightly love.

My first preludes for piano – my Op.3 – Aquarelles Acoustiques – are finally available online on Spotify, iTunes, and many more. In twelve compositions I have described a world of emotions that is inspired by colors and color nuances, based on the two musical epochs of Impressionism and High Romanticism.

It is was journey. A journey experienced by me and written down in the most beautiful and touching way I was able to choose. During this time which last almost 3 years I tried to discover my little knowledge about the art of making music in a new way. To discover my very own self. Noting down my first steps on this journey and seeing what kind of beautiful music I was about to find along the way was a beautiful experience. My main course of this journey was not the pursuit of reaching end. I orientated myself by the awaiting of new coasts, the process of getting lost and found and by the unexpected events I was about to experience. I simply drifted away together with my music.
