ARRANGEMENTS

Alexandre Desplat | Wong Chia Chis's Theme

arranged for piano & orchestra by Deniz Inan

The well-known theme from the film Lust, Caution, based on the novel by Eileen Chang, captures the fragility of the protagonist Wong Chia Chi, imbued with melancholy. Desplat has created a masterpiece with this piece. I did not want to alter the heavy pulse—so reminiscent of Satie—but instead to shape an Adagio-like movement, in which piano and orchestra, clarinet and basset horn, bring the theme to life in different colours. The sheet music will follow soon.

Celine Dion | When you look at me

arranged for piano by Deniz Inan

The story of the film Bicentennial Man feels more relevant today than ever: what makes a human truly human? Carried by James Horner’s music, the narrative is bathed in a beautifully intimate sound world. With this arrangement, I sought to create my own interpretation. The sheet music will be available soon.

America | The Last Unicorn

arranged for piano by Deniz Inan

American composer Jimmy Webb penned one of the most beautiful songs ever written for an animated film. The very first line of the song will evoke the childhood memories of past Christmas holidays to which this beautiful film is linked. “The Last Unicorn” is a beautiful and magical childhood moment for many of us.

John Legend | All of Me

arranged for piano by Deniz Inan

With all the curves, corners, dead ends, bumpy roads, and one-way streets, life is rarely perfect… but that’s what makes its beauty. With the beautiful lines “Love your curves and all your edges, all your perfect imperfections” by John, I began my piano improvisation almost 8 years ago

Ed Sheeran | Photograph

arranged for piano by Deniz Inan

As the soft melody of Ed Sheeran’s “Photograph” fills the air, memories come rushing back. It’s a song that encapsulates moments frozen in time, emotions woven into each note. And now, I’m thrilled to share with you my piano arrangement of this beautiful piece.
